Born in 1974, the son of an Anglican clergyman, I attended Norwich Cathedral School before studying for a bachelor of education at Homerton College, Cambridge University. Three years teaching in Colchester was followed by another three years in Cambridge at Westcott House Theological College. An Anglican curacy at St Thomas Brentwood was followed by four years as vicar of St Barnabas Tunbridge wells. In 2010 I was a formative member of the Ordinariate being received into the Catholic Church with 72 parishioners. Since then I have been a Catholic priest of the Ordinariate working in the parish of St Anselm in Pembury. Married to Hayley, a painting restorer at the National Gallery, we have three children and a French bulldog!
